DAY 5





trekked back from the campsite to OB campus....turns out there's a short cut which only takes 2 hours. -___- haha.....went back......washed the tents, haversacks and all...then we spent some time with some ashram kids from a nearby orphanage......played with them in the water and all....(: then showered, had dinner and had briefing for the next day's kayak expedition....and packed our jerry cans and all...and finally, SLEEP!





DAY6





breakfast.got out kayaks and life jackets.....and set off!!!!(: loved it! we had to stay in some diamond formation thing.....and MAYA WAS OUR CAPTAIN FOR THE DAY! (: proud of you maya!!! (: yeah.....reached pangkor island after about an hour of continuous paddling.... bleah....exhausting....my shoulders were like aching man!


arrived on the island, pitched our tents....got the fire started...made lunch...and were lazing around and enjoying the beach...went rappeling in the late afternoon...the view was DAMNIT NICE! (: yeah.....


went back to our tents....then went for a walk by the beach with ABIGAIL! (: love you loads man! (: and zac efron is gay! ;)


haha...anyways....then made dinner....okay...this part sucks.


okay. it was like already dark, and we had to use torchlights to see our food.and we had sardine curry with rice for dinner okay. then all of a sudden, i feel something warm (like a thick mixture...it was wet) splash on my leg. when i shone my light on my leg right, i thought it was sardine curry......but then i realised the "mixture" fell from above....and when i looked up, true enough, i could see the silhouette of a monkey. T__T and when i sniffed my leg again just to be sure....it seriously smelt like my cousin's poop when she was like 3months old! WTH!haha


oh man!!!!it drove me nuts i swear!and i actually thought it was asrdine curry!!?WTH!haha


so had to change.....tried to eat but totally lost my appetite....then we had a briefing for the kayak back......turns out i was supposed to be the left flanker in formation..yeah...


after the briefing, we all sat at the beach in the dark....and started sharing ghost stories.....typical. haha...didn't have any ghost stories to say.... (:

yeah......played some lame game with zac and ravi....omg!i swear they're so lame lah!haha

DAY7



kayaked back......was the left flanker...omg.damn annoying....coz the left flanker is supposed to make sure that everyone stays on your right....nobody must move out of formation....yeah,......

and it started pouring...and seriously it was a MAJOR DOWNPOUR! yeah...and the current was freaking strong....and the current was pushing everybody to the LEFT!!!ARGH!!!!and ben and i were like signalling to like so many people to keep to the right....and at the same time trying to keep our own kayak moving in formation... bleah!and my glasses were like completely blur lah!haha!!!!i couldn;t see anything!lol. i had to keep wiping my glasses every 2 minutes!haha! but all the rain, the current and the waves...and the thought of being in such deep and rough waters.... and the excitementof it and all.... that was what made it so fun! yeah....i felt that that was the activity that seriously like.....you know.....had a more significant impact on me.....as in...not only was it SUPER fun, it also helped me overcome my fear of like deep water....yeah....as in, i've never been exactly afraid of the water....but i've always been a bit apprehensive about going out into the sea and all....yeah..so....yeah.... (: loved it! :D

reached the OB campus......washed the kayaks and life jackets....and then showered.... (:

then we had our trip to go sight seeing....lol (: haha.....yeah....we actually went to pankor island again, but this was at another part of the island......the part where people actually lived and all...its actually a fishing village.. yeah.....we took a speed boat there! (: damn cool! loved the feeling of the water on your face and all..... (: reached the island......and went looking around....got to buy some food stuff and all..... (:yeah....went back to OB camp...were briefed for our solo camp the next day..packed our stuff...and SLEEP!



DAY8



okay...this was the worst day i swear....morning...had breakfast(last decent meal for the day...)': )

then we trekked to our "new home for the next 1 day." yeah.....so we all trekked together....and mr yuzam dropped us off one by one...yeah....when he left me at my area right, i thought it was pretty good......yeah...so i put my bag down....and strapped it to the tree....(coz we were warned about monkeys... -.-)...broke a branch........med it into a suitable shape to clear all the leaves and twigs from my area so i could pitch my tent....yeah.....quite happy with that... (: then had to tie my rafia string to the two trees....to pitch the tent....yeah..then sudenly i heard a something running around up on the trees!!! WTH! then i saw all these monkeys like jumping like all over from tree to tree!!!!and they were like surrounding me!!!! OMG! i swear i freaked out lah!!!ARGH!!! i grabbed a big branch and started banging it on the tree and shouting at the monkeys.lol.haha.... i was like "OI!!!!!BOOO!!!" and i was like stamping my feet on the gronud and all like some retard! -.- haha. seriously lah! i felt so stupid shouting in the middle of some jungle like a lunatic. -.- haha....yeah.....then pavitra heard me i think....and she called out to me....haha....then i knew more or less which direction she was....but i couldn't see her...coz of the trees... yeah..-.- haha.....yeah..so tried to continue pitching my tent.....lol....haha...but i sucked at it!!!seriously sucked! yeah....and then out of nowhere ben comes up.....?!haha. what a relief lah!lol....then he helped me pitch my tent.....and then it looked more like a tent... (": haha....yeah.....then he told me he was going to try and find the rest.....so we can all like not be "solo" haha lol.....so we went round shouting for richard...coz i know richard got off after me.....and the coolest part okay, we trekked a bit higher up...coz i know that's the way the rest of them went...following the tracks...haha .....but after a while... richard's voice was coming from totally the opposite direction from where Mr Yuzam apparently brought them to...yeah.....squeezed through some branches and all...and moved a bit higher up....and we FINALLY saw richard!!! OMG! (: what a relief lah! haah....yeah...so then richard said that he knew were higher up.....so we continued...now the three of us....and went higher up....and we found divya and suganthi! (: and georgie and yee hsiong and kow were there too!coz they decided to go looking for people too!haha (: yeah....sat with suganthi for a while.and i was so hungry and i we all couldnt start our fire...so i just ate my maggi mee raw...lol.threw away half...then went to nurul's and pavitra's tents....and wan rou! yeah..they were all sitting together at nurul's tent i think....or wan rou's tent?can;t remember which...

....then nurul told me maya was further down...so finally went down...and saw maya!!! :D OMG! i felt like whoOO!!!YAY! i missed her lah!lol haha....

she was sitting alone in her tent..really SOLO!lol...yeah...and she had her towel on her head...and she was burning the mosquitoe repellent.lol...haha...yeah...sat there for a while.....talked for about an hour?then nurul came down.....continued talking..then maya and i planned to sleep together,...coz we found out that a lot of the rest were sleeping together....haha....so when i went up to my tent to get my stuff....amd was on the way down.....and MR YUZAM WAS COMING UP!!!ARGH!!!!he was like "where're you going?" and i was like....errrr..........mmm.......mm...m...." haha. but he was so nice lah! he said "i know you're scared...but just persevre...and put up with it okay!(: and try and "TAHAN" lol.haha....so since he was like so patient with us and all.....and he was the only instructor who was so patient with us...i thought....haiya...nvm....just TAHAN lah!

yeah...so i got my fire started after like 40 mins!? -.- ......made dinner and all.....yeah.....and i was so happy that i managed to start my fire so i could have cooked food for dinner okay!

lol....yeah.....i cooked some curry thing....and made milo....and all the flies and ants and all were like going to my curry and milo....and there were like already a few flies in my milo... -.- lol...

yeah.....i know i'm gross and i can;t believe i did it...but yeah...i just ate the curry...along with a few of the flies that were in my curry-___- OMG! i swear i can;t believe i actually did that lah!now i think of it! but....at that moment...i was just so exhausted and hungry..and depressed that i just ate it...yeah...and the worst part- i already drunk like a bit of my milo....and i put it on tyhe ground okay......coz i realised i was sitting on an ant trail... and i was trying to move away....and when i moved.... BEING A CLUMSY IDIOT, i knocked over my PRECIOUS MILO!!!!and i took so long just to make it lah!!!! OMG! and i was really looking forward to a simple warm drink....and milo is something i used to drink as a child...so it really reminded me of home....

yeah...so i just sat there staring at the fire...with the ants biting my shins...and i just broke down.

yeah.... that was when i really totally felt super homesick.....yeah....as in i really couldn't take it. i missed my parents, my bed, my food, my toilet, my room, my friends ....everything...yeah..sucked.....and the ants weren;t ordinary ants....they were wierd!haha...they were like damnit big....and yellow, with a black spot at the top.... wierd...yeah....but suganthi's place was wierder....i saw some wierd mosquitoe thing....but it was like....colourful..?! but not a butterfly... yeah....lol....haha

yeah...anyway.....wallowed myself in self pity like some retarded child....took out my sleeping bag....changed....washed my mess tins....and all.....shouted to pavitra for the time...and she told me it was 7.30 (evening).......

yeah...so it was already getting dark.....and i got into my sleeping bag and tried to sleep.....yeah....

OMG! this was the worst part lah! i woke up like 6-7 times!and there was something in my sleping bag.....andi couldn;t get up and check...coz i realised i was sleeping on a freaking slope! and my back was like damn painful.....and that stupid thing in my sleeping bag bit me dunno how many times already!?ARGH! and there were flies buzzing around my head!!!ARGH!!!! and their ZZZZZsound is freaking loud okay! yeah.....and i kept dreaming that mr yuzam came to wake me up.....saying it was morning already....but everytime i wake up...it was like just a freking DREAM! ARGH! yeah....and sometime in the middle of the night, it started raining....and my feet were like sticking out of the tent, so my whole sleeping bag and my feet and all were totally drenched....and soggy....:( and you know rain make the sky look lighter coloured right.....so i kept thinking it was morning....but it wasnt... :'(

DAY9

sigh.yeah...so finally.....it was morning...woke up...packed....and went back to OB campus.... yeah.....showered...and got ready for the BBQ night.....got our performane and all ready...damn nice! we did "hey there delilah"...but we changed the lyrics! (: damn nice... (: yeah.....
ate like pigs that night!!! (: damn nice! (: loved it!after it all...shien ling and i went for a short walk to the beach....yeah...damn nice... (: but it was very short.. (: yeah....at night...we all exchanged our numbers and emails and all...yeah... really miss all of them! (:

DAY10

morning, breakfast.....had my usual poop with maya... (: haha...(we made an appointment everyday at the toilet outside the dining hall....to shit there together every morning....coz firstly, that toilet was cleaner.secondly, nobody else will be there to smell our poop! (:except for both of us... (: haha.....) anyway,...
packed everything....and left the dorms.....we're had the graduation ceremony thing....and all...
and then it was farewell. :'( OMG!!!! man! i really felt like crying lah! but i just did it like silently.....lol...hahah..i kept wiping the tears in my eyes away before it could all start pouring.lol.haha yeah....we all cried... :( yeah...and everyone was hugging everyone...and.....bleah....so depressing...seriously.....yeah....damn sad...but its the memories and the bonds we've made that are important! (:
